                            OWN A PIECE OF HISTORY!

For a limited time only, Master ship model-builder George Lowery is offering for sale several model ships from his private collection.  These are not run-of-the-mill models, but museum quality reduced scale reproductions, authentic in every detail.  Each represents hundreds of hours of painstaking research, design, and surgically precise fabrication and assembly.  They are completely scratch built. Since these requirements cannot be met by any mass production techniques, the quantity available is very limited.

Though little known outside collector’s circles, Mr. Lowery is renowned among those who demand the finest in reproduction accuracy.  He has studied ships and ship model building for many years and once served an apprenticeship under renown master ship model builder Frank Mastini before striking out on his own.  Today he has models on display in the National Maritime Historical Society gallery in Peekskill, New York, the Hudson River Museum in Kingston, New York, and the Mystic Seaport collection in Mystic, Connecticut. He also has models in many private collections around the country.

Whether for future investment, appreciation, or just the enjoyment of knowing you own a rare and unique piece of history, a ship model by George Lowery is like an original painting, sculpture, or other fine work of art.  It serves to remind us of the days when men of steel went to sea in ships of wood, and the flapping of canvas accompanied the sting of salt spray.

Each model is accompanied by a brief history of the craft, a certificate of authenticity signed and dated by the builder, and comes in a very fine hand made case for display and protection.
